Creation Wine Estate

Join us on a memorable experience to Creation Wine Estate in the Walker Bay Wine Region that forms part of the Hemel-en- Aarde. Creation is situated near Hermanus on the steep slopes of the Babilonstoring Mountain.

Creation is best known for its exceptional Wine and Food Pairing offerings for all ages. Children have a special menu complemented by Creation cordials. The Tasting Room provides and array of seven pairing options from the Story of Creation to the Paradoxical Wine and Chocolate Pairing. The restaurant on the estate provides an explosion of flavours on the culinary journey, harmonizing dishes from the A LA Carte Menu with their exquisite wines - creating a harmony of flavours and a dining experience to remember!

To avoid disappointment, ensure you make a booking at least 48 hours in advance to secure landing permissions on the estate.

This Helicopter Wine Safari includes a private flight to and from Creation Wine Estate. A half-day adventure at Creation which includes both wine tasting and lunch.

The journey from the V&A Waterfront to Creation Wine Estate is approximately 35 minutes and from Creation to the V &A Waterfront is also approximately 35 minutes. Time on the ground is between 2-3 hours at the estate. The total time of the experience is 3-4 hours.

Cape Town Helicopters reserves the right to return the helicopter to the base if operational requirements necessitate it.

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 30 minutes before your scheduled takeoff time. This allows us to complete weight checks, conduct the safety briefing, and issue your tickets. Once checked in, you can relax in our waiting area, capture some great pre-flight photos, and soak in the atmosphere before your adventure begins.

Photography Tip

For the best photos, we recommend wearing darker-colored clothing. Light colours, especially white, can reflect off the windows and affect your shots—so dress dark for that perfect picture! We do not have an on-site photographer.

Seating

For all sharing flights, seating is assigned based on weight and balance, which is determined during your safety briefing and ticketing. If you prefer to choose your own seats, you may book an Exclusive Flight by purchasing one additional seat—guaranteeing you the best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather-dependent. If conditions are not suitable for flying, we will make every effort to reschedule your flight to the next best available time. For your comfort, please note that the temperature in the sky is the same as on the ground, so dress accordingly.
