Take flight with Cape Town Experiences on a direct flight to Jordan Wine Estate, located in Stellenbosch, in the Cape Winelands. The flight will depart from the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Helicopters Hangar.

As you land at Jordan Wine Estate you will be welcomed and led to a safari-viewing vehicle that will take you on the journey to explore the setting of views of False Bay and Table Bay as you make your way through the Cape Winelands through the rich fauna and flora.

Stopping for a wine tasting among the breathtaking natural beauty, enjoy a variety of wines farmed from sustainably grown vineyards. While absorbing the beauty of the surroundings, dig into a gourmet picnic basket that includes treats from, The Cellar Door, located at Jordan Wine Estate. Enjoy a selection of treats sourced from the wine estate and include a variety of wines, beers, soft drinks, and hot beverages. Jordan Estate’s offerings set them apart from other wine farms and is reflected in their wine and picnic pods. Jordan Wine Estates boasts spectacular views with unmatched landscapes. They also boast the most unique experience in picnicking ensuring that guests make the most of the experience.

To avoid disappointment, book at least 48 hours in advance to secure landing permissions on the estate.

This Helicopter Wine Safari includes a private flight to and from Jordan Wine Estate. Approximately a half-day adventure at Jordan Wine Estate including wine tasting and lunch.

The journey from the V&A Waterfront to Jordan is approximately 20 minutes and from Jordan Wine Estate to the V &A Waterfront is also approximately 20 minutes. Time on the ground is between 2-3 hours at the estate. The total time of the experience is approximately 3-4 hours.

Cape Town Helicopters reserves the right to return the helicopter to the base if operational requirements necessitate it.

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 30 minutes before your scheduled takeoff time. This allows us to complete weight checks, conduct the safety briefing, and issue your tickets. Once checked in, you can relax in our waiting area, capture some great pre-flight photos, and soak in the atmosphere before your adventure begins.

Photography Tip

For the best photos, we recommend wearing darker-colored clothing. Light colours, especially white, can reflect off the windows and affect your shots—so dress dark for that perfect picture! We do not have an on-site photographer.

Seating

For all sharing flights, seating is assigned based on weight and balance, which is determined during your safety briefing and ticketing. If you prefer to choose your own seats, you may book an Exclusive Flight by purchasing one additional seat—guaranteeing you the best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather-dependent. If conditions are not suitable for flying, we will make every effort to reschedule your flight to the next best available time. For your comfort, please note that the temperature in the sky is the same as on the ground, so dress accordingly.
