About the Tour

Just imagine having your own private helicopter transport you to your breakfast destination, sounds pretty incredible right - well this experience can now be yours. So what exactly do we have in store for you? You’ll be picked up by a bus from your location which will transport you to a Heli-pad located at the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront, right in the heart of Cape Town. Here you will be introduced to your pilot that will also act as your tour guide. Take off from Cape Town Harbour, past the glorious Table Mountain one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. Then, make your way to the charming university town of Stellenbosch, which is in the heart of the Cape wine lands. Over Sir Lowrys pass, through Houwhoek mountians and decend into the Botrivier valley, and Gabrielskloof, where a true, gourmet breakfast awaits you.

About Gabrielskloof

Gabrielskloof is a picturesque, family run Wine Estate located in the Botrivier valley. The farm was named after Gabriel le Roux in whose name the land was first registered in the 1860’s. Their vision is to produce the best wines that reflect the complexity, richness and diversity of Gabriëlskloof’s unique terroir. Their restaurant is known for its hearty, honest, soul food prepared with love by the owners. Here you will find good, no-fuss homemade authentic Cape food. This accompanied by panoramic views of the Babylonstoren mountains and the surrounding wheat fields all make for a truly memorable morning. On your flight journey home you will fly over Tweewaterskloof dam, Franschoek, Helshoogte pass and then on to the V&A Waterfront. The helicopter accommodates 4-6 passengers at a time and is prefect for families, couples and a group of friends. Another helicopter is however provided if you are a bigger group. This is a breakfast adventure unlike most and an experience you will cherish for many years to come

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled Take Off time. This will allow enough time for us to take weights, conduct a safety briefing and issue tickets. After this has been conducted you can relax on the viewing deck and take some great pre-flight pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.

Best Pictures

For the best pictures we recommend that you wear darker coloured clothing as whites reflect off the inside of the windows and can spoil that epic shot.

Please be aware that seating allocation on all our sharing flights are done according to weight and balance which is done during your safety briefing and ticketing. Should you want to choose your own seats you can book an Exclusive Flight at the cost of one additional seat and you are guaranteed the ‘best seats in the house.

All flights are weather dependent. Should the conditions not be ideal for flying we will try to reschedule to the next best available flight window. Note that the temperature in the sky is exactly the same as on the ground in case you are wondering what to wear.
