Rickety Bridge is nestled against the slopes of the Franschhoek Mountains overlooking the majestic Wemmershoek mountain range.
Step into a piece of Wineland’s history upon your Cape Town Helicopters flight arrival at Rickety Bridge Winery - the land dates back to 1694 when Rickety Bridge was originally part of La Provence, one of the first seven French Huguenot farms in Franschhoek. Today the property is home to a modern winery, a bistro-style restaurant, and more.
The Wine Tasting Centre is adjacent to the wine cellar, offering a glimpse into the inner workings of a working winery. Taste Rickety Bridge wines on the terraces, surrounded by vines, or gather around the wood-burning fireplace on colder days to soak up the warmth while enjoying Rickety Bridge’s fine wines. The friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you through the various Tasting Centre offerings.
Take a seat on the terrace with magnificent vineyard and mountain views or cosy up in front of the fireplace in the colder months and enjoy one of the varieties of elegant bistro-style dishes while sipping on the award-winning Rickety Bridge wines to compliment your lunch – the perfect ending to your day.

The Rickety Bridge Winery, Cape Town Helicopters flight package includes a private helicopter flight to and from Rickety Bridge and a half-day experience at the winery to enjoy wine tasting and or pairing, shopping, and lunch (for your own account).
