Seal Snorkeling at the 12 Apostle Mountain range

About the tour

The Cape fur seals are renowned for interacting with snorkelers like no other sea bound creature. From the V&A Waterfront, we gear up and take a scenic cruise with our Gemini 850 RIB down the coast to a seal colony close to Camps Bay. Seal Snorkeling is a popular marine activity in Cape Town and so most of the traditional spots have become a little over-commercialized, so we chose this specific sight because it is virtually untouched by other charters making it more exclusive and intimate for our guests. This experience requires no prior experience and there is no need for complicated robust diving equipment. Our marine guides are professional, safe and heavily focused on marine education. Come and meet our friendly locals who may seem a little lazy on land but in the water, they turn into agile playful creatures especially when they have an audience for their acrobatics.  With a backdrop to awe over of the famous 12 Apostle mountain range which spans from Table Mountain all the way along the Cape Peninsula, the Seal Snorkel makes for an all-round unforgettable experience. Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled Take Off time. This will allow enough time for us to take weights, conduct a safety briefing and issue tickets. After this has been conducted you can relax on the viewing deck and take some great pre-flight pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.

Best Pictures

For the best pictures we recommend that you wear darker coloured clothing as whites reflect off the inside of the windows and can spoil that epic shot.

Seating

Please be aware that seating allocation on all our sharing flights are done according to weight and balance which is done during your safety briefing and ticketing. Should you want to choose your own seats you can book an Exclusive Flight at the cost of one additional seat and you are guaranteed the ‘best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather dependent. Should the conditions not be ideal for flying we will try to reschedule to the next best available flight window. Note that the temperature in the sky is exactly the same as on the ground in case you are wondering what to wear.
